Hi, does anybody have advice for a friend suffering from early -onset glaucoma with a family history? She is in her 50's. Her pressure while ON medication is 20 in one eye and 22 in the other. She was on both Allergan and Lumigan. She is now only on Lumigan. She does not yet have organic damage to the eye. Her mother developed glaucoma in her mid-30's after suffering a detached retina. Her mother's younger brother developed glaucoma in his 60's. Her maternal grandfather also had it. Her brother does not have it.

Her eyes have been hurting lately when she reads.

HOW TO USE FACT

1: We have created a category on FACT called Website Help. The guidelines to Login, Post Messages, Post Responses and Search Archives are all there specific to this group. At the top, under Dr Gordon's photo is also a general forum FAQ on how to use it.

2: Still having problems logging in, duplicate or no emails, please let us know by replying to any posting and describe your problem. We were glad to hear from some of you from the old CDG message posted yesterday. Please update your spam filter to include emails from moderator@gordonresearch.com, as safe.

3: Remember that the CDG on Yahoo is no longer active. Please do not send emails to the members on it and take us off of your email list (Chelationdiscussiongroup-owner@yahoogroups.com, drgarryfgordon@yahoo.com). You do not have to register for FACT, if you were a member of the CDG; the transfer was automatic.

4. The question above was sent by a member who did not sign it. Some members will not respond to unsigned messages and they have written you that in postings. We do not copy and paste any information from your email header, which may or may not identify you; you have to sign the email in some fashion if you want it there.

5. Any effective products for Glaucoma is also a topic that was discussed, as recently as June this year, so although this message arrived in July, it has not been posted until now because we have requested that you search the archives before sending in your question. If it is a repeat of a discussion from this year, it will be held for posting until first time questions are posted. We do have a waiting list of 30 questions (about half of them have already been discussed this year), which means about a month before you will see it on the forum; you do not have to resend them.

Hope this clarifies some of the forum policies to our newer members. Please reply to any email from us if you have a question about them.

Now let's give our member some additional help for her friend's glaucoma.

Thank you,

Sandra

Feeling overwhelmed with the responsibility of putting on a symposium next Fall and need to stop the flow of emails for a few months. Thanks. Carolyn Reuben

Dear FACT members:
If you are ever feeling the same, please remember that you have THREE options, as a FACT member:
1. Individual daily emails
2. One daily digest of all our postings for the day
3. No Emails, which still gives you access to the extensive archives of FACT but stops the daily postings.

All three options give you the same access to information either by hitting reply to any message with your response and/or new question or to go online with your username and password and search through the previous 6 years of discussions.

If you forgot your username or password or need help searching, just let us know and we'll email you the directions.

Remember to search the website for answers to your questions before sending them to the group. You'll be amazed how many topics have already been discussed and are in easy to search categories and forums by topic. Also, if you have posted a question, we keep posting responses to it on FACT even if you don't receive all of them in a daily email.

Read my basic protocols. No matter what the name for your patient's cancer, go to AutoImmune, Cancer and read my protocols filed at the top for ease. Same system for chronic infections or skin problems, etc.

Thank you all for your participation.

Sincerely,

Garry F. Gordon MD, DO, MD(H)
